Ample Free Parking is Available
Runners are encouraged to park in public parking along the street and in the parking garages conveniently located in the downtown area. Be advised that parking along the race route may result in you being unable to depart until the event has concluded, due to several road closures providing for the safety of runners, volunteers, and spectators. Additionally, parking locations are designated on the downloadable map below.
Participants in the 5K are encouraged to park in the City of Ft. Pierce parking garage on Orange Avenue, just east of U.S. 1 and west of the FEC Railroad Tracks. Streets east of the tracks will be closed at 6:00 a.m. and not re-opened until the conclusion of the half marathon, which is anticipated to be 10:00 a.m. Parking in the city garage will allow you to easily exit the event after the 5K, should you desire.
Half Marathon participants are encouraged to park in the St. Lucie County Courthouse parking garage on Second Street, one block north of Citrus Ave. For this event, no parking spaces are "reserved" except handicapped spaces, and those reserved for race officials. Other options include the surface lots located at Indian River Drive and Avenue D, as well as Second Street and Avenue C. Additionally, a limited amount of surface street parking throughout the downtown area is available. Please note that all individuals parking east of the railroad tracks will be unable to leave prior to the conclusion of the event due to road closures.
